What makes cheese so stretchy, ooey, gooey, and melty? Proteins! At Formo, we’re cultivating microorganisms instead of cows to produce the cheeses we all love. Using a process called precision fermentation, we teach microorganisms to produce delicious, functional proteins that are 100% animal-free. During this process, our microorganisms massively reduce the need for industrial dairy, cutting out some of the most damaging elements of our food system. We then turn our animal-free proteins into a variety of indulgent cheeses for conscious minds that are seeking for ways to reduce their dietary impact on the planet, without compromising on deliciousness and functionality. 🧀 🌍
