Hey there, culinary Einstein! We're on the hunt for a Food Scientist (x/m/f) to join our crew at Formo.
As a key ingredient in our Food Science Team, you'll be the Maestro behind integrating your food passion into Formo's product lineup. Get ready to sprinkle your magic on texture, sensory delights, and even work your cost-cutting and shelf-life expertise – all while collaborating with our cross-functional squads.
If you've got a love affair with food science that matches our passion, then ride with us towards the future of food
Research, develop, and optimize food products, especially bringing in your knowledge of hydrocolloids and fiber
Conduct analytical tests such as taste, texture and shelf life, and/or other nutrient tests for the prototypes developed
Apply sound scientific methods including planning and executing trials, analyzing data, and defining solutions to achieve project goals
Take the lead on R&D projects including product and process improvement as well as product reformulation
Report results to interested stakeholders
Partner and communicate effectively with cross-functional groups: Product development, Quality, Procurement, Finance
Job requirements
Master's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or equivalent
Working experience as an R&D Food Scientist in a food company preferably in the area of hydrocolloids and fiber
Passionate about food, nutrition, and sustainability
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience working with cross-functional teams
High level of flexibility, commitment, ability to multitask, and change management skills
Fluent in English
